The London Energy Club

On behalf of our partners in the global energy sector, Afion launched the inaugural meeting of The London Energy Club in 2019. Established on the success of The Bosphorus Energy Club, the LEC comprised of a series of closed-door roundtables and conferences for board-level executives in energy-focused companies.

The great achievement of this series was to produce best-in-class, bespoke events funded by membership fees and sponsorship. Conducted under Chatham House rules, the objectives of the LEC were to connect energy sector leaders with representatives at the highest levels of government from around the world in a discreet ad convivial setting. The Afion team curated each programme uniquely for each event, and personally invited each attendee with briefing notes in preparation for the upcoming roundtable discussion.

The LEC has inspired global array of stakeholders on cross-border projects and transactions and facilitated dialogue on the most sensitive of topics. It continues to offer insightful intelligence on the critical matters that affect its members and has led to the successful implementation of strategic blueprints for decision makers across the energy and financial sectors.
